Call. Please call.

I’ve written about this before. I hoped I wouldn’t have to write about it again. It’s such a weight on the heart knowing that the Senate is currently debating on a UN treaty that, if ratified, could have lifelong implications for parenting the Trooper. Please, if you know anyone with a disability, educate yourself on this. Call your Senators and urge them to oppose it. The US isn’t lacking in disability awareness or laws to protect the disabled. For crying out loud, these guys should be debating how to balance the country’s budget, not how to fit us into some UN cookie cutter. Why when our country is in a fiscal nightmare these guys think it necessary to do this now, I don’t know. I’ve given up trying to figure out the mind of the government. What I do know is my home. And no bureaucrat is in a better position to decide what is best for my son.

Please, call now. It takes 30 seconds.
