Capturing Contentment in the Everyday…

Pretty

A Princess twirling in the narthex of our Church awaiting the start of her sister’s Baptism.  Ok, so this picture is a few weeks old now, but I just found it again.

Happy

The swingset is up!  We hauled this thing from the Old Haus, and while we had the playhouse in the backyard at the beginning of summer, we now finally have swings attached.

Funny

The first dozen times he put his knight’s costume shirt on backward I assumed was for ease of dressing, as it velcroes in the back.  It was only sometime during the next dozen times that I realized he was imitating The Beast’s dress coat (with tails).

Clever child.

Real

“Nothing shall be hidden that a nearly two-year-old will not bring to light.”  –Haus Frau, circa 2011.

She found where I hid the sugar pot.

(And her leggings were hanging up to dry because shortly before I had plucked her from a bathroom sink, where she was giving herself a foot soak)

**Special thanks to all of you who prayed for Trooper after last week’s {phfr}.  His procedure ended up being rescheduled for this coming Tuesday, but we appreciate all the advance praying. 🙂

  1. Our 2 year old is partial to foot washing as well. Perhaps they’ll be rock climbers someday.
Very creative use of costuming there to make the Beast’s coat, I think it’s great 🙂

So true! They will find things you didn’t even know you owned!

Did the docs ever find anything from the tests with Trooper? Have been thinking about him & wondered if you got results by now.
