Snow Day

Well, I take back everything I ever said about “it rarely snows around here…”

From the local news:

“Final totals for snow accumulation have yet to be calculated, but so far this is the largest single-day total since the 18.5 inches of snow … during the blizzard [of 1993]… according to the National Weather Service.

The last time the city saw amounts similar to today’s was January 27, 1968, when it got 6.8 inches”

And all day, I’ve been seriously regretting having left the snow bibs and boots in Indiana because “they’re more likely to have snow than we are.”
